Ground Penetrating Radar

• Ground penetrating radar data recorded from the Ross Ice Shelf in Antarctica.
• Data represents ice density at different depths.
• Depth is mapped to instrument type.
• 8 instruments evenly divide the 200 meter depth.
• Density value is converted to a pitch in a major scale
• Each scan of the radar is identified by a percussive 'chick' sound and contains 8 notes/values per instrument for a total of 64 notes per scan.
